How to pack for safari (less than you think)

Safari packing is where most first-timers get it wrong...

It's easy to plan a trip that looks great on paper. It's harder to plan one that stays with you. We spend most of our time working on the second problem: the pacing, the pauses, the small decisions that add up. A room you don't want to leave. A guide who becomes a friend. A market on the way back to the airport that you're glad you stopped at.
